What is the Parent Teacher Association (PTA)?

  • PTA is the group of families and staff who support and enrich our school.

  • There are 7 meetings this year (5 evening, 2 morning to accommodate different schedules). Attend as many or as few as you like!  Virtual stream offered too!

  • Meetings are a chance to get informed, get involved, and vote.  We often get district updates from our superintendent, school updates from our principal, and other guest speakers or ways to engage, like book club, the Let Grow Project, and more.

  • Our PTA is a 501(c)(3) and a part of National PTA and Michigan PTA.  Your donations are tax deductible!

What does the PTA do?  We:

  • Enhance your child’s education.  Educational enrichment programs, like Science Alive, March Is Reading Month, assemblies for students, and more.

  • Build community. Trunk or Treat. Multicultural Fair. Spring dance. Skating nights. Spirit wear. Breakfast with a Buddy. Birthday lunches.

  • Create connections. School directory. Yearbook.

  • Support staff.  Teacher appreciation week. Teacher stipends help cover costs for classroom materials. PTA grants for special projects.
